Maintenance
Central Heating Maintenance and Servicing
Regular servicing keeps your heating system running smoothly through winter. We clean, adjust and check the system, and tell you clearly what we found.
Overview
Why heating systems need servicing
Every heating system changes over time. Sludge and debris collect in pipes and radiators, air builds up at the top of radiators, system pressure drifts, and controls fall out of adjustment. The result is uneven heating, noisy pipes and a system that takes longer to warm the house.
A service before the heating season deals with these issues while it is still convenient. We clean and adjust the system, test the controls and check overall performance. If we find something that needs more work, we explain it and give you a quotation before doing anything further.

FAQs
Questions about servicing
Common questions about this service. If yours isn't answered here, ask our team.
01How often should central heating be serviced?
Most systems benefit from a service once a year, ideally before winter. Older or heavily used systems may need checking more often.
02Do you service systems installed by other companies?
Yes. If you know the make and model of your boiler or furnace, include it in your enquiry so we can prepare.
03What happens if you find a fault?
We explain what we found and what it means. If repairs or parts are needed, we give you a quotation first and only proceed with your approval.
04Can I bleed radiators myself?
Bleeding a radiator is a simple job many owners do themselves with the system switched off and cool. If radiators keep needing bleeding or the pressure keeps dropping, that points to an underlying problem worth a proper service.
05How long does a servicing visit take?
It depends on the size of the system and the number of radiators. We give you an idea of timing when you book.
